{"id":361,"date":"2019-05-01T07:18:47","date_gmt":"2019-05-01T07:18:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ramimarcus.com\/Recipes\/?p=361"},"modified":"2019-05-01T07:28:06","modified_gmt":"2019-05-01T07:28:06","slug":"veggie-pot-pie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ramimarcus.com\/Recipes\/veggie-pot-pie\/","title":{"rendered":"Veggie Pot Pie"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>1 onion<\/li>\n<li>4oz mushrooms<\/li>\n<li>1 large carrot<\/li>\n<li>1 potato<\/li>\n<li>2 stalks celery<\/li>\n<li>1 cup cauliflower<\/li>\n<li>2 cups vegetable broth<\/li>\n<li>3 cloves garlic<\/li>\n<li>salt<\/li>\n<li>pepper<\/li>\n<li>2tbsp soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>2tbsp cornstarch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>1 <a href=\"https:\/\/ramimarcus.com\/Recipes\/classic-shortcrust-piecrust-pate-brisee\/\">pie crust<\/a>, blind baked.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Saute veggies.\u00a0 Start with cauliflower, potatoes, and carrots for 5-7m.\u00a0 Add onion, mushrooms and celery, cook 3-5m.<\/li>\n<li>Add broth, bring to a boil and simmer.\u00a0 Cook until barely tender.\u00a0 Add salt and pepper to taste.<\/li>\n<li>While waiting, mix cornstarch, soy sauce, and 1\/4 cup water.<\/li>\n<li>Once veggies are cooked, stir cornstarch mixture into vegetables, and cook until sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Pour filling into the prepared piecrust, lay a layer of dough on top and seal the edges.\u00a0 Cut steam vents.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 425 until crust is brown and the filling is bubbling, about 40 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A comfort food classic.
