{"id":485,"date":"2019-12-01T00:25:32","date_gmt":"2019-12-01T00:25:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ramimarcus.com\/Recipes\/?p=485"},"modified":"2019-12-01T00:25:32","modified_gmt":"2019-12-01T00:25:32","slug":"basic-stuffing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ramimarcus.com\/Recipes\/basic-stuffing\/","title":{"rendered":"Basic Stuffing"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 onion, diced<\/li>\n<li>4 stalks celery, diced<\/li>\n<li>8 tbsp unsalted butter (1 stick)<\/li>\n<li>12c bread cubes (15oz dried cubes)<\/li>\n<li>3-4c chicken broth<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp parsley<\/li>\n<li>2tbsp fresh herbs, chopped fine (sage, thyme, rosemary)<\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper, to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350F<\/li>\n<li>Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add onion, celery, and herbs.\u00a0 Cook until soft, about 10-15m.<\/li>\n<li>Place the bread cubes in a large bowl.\u00a0 Add onion mixture.\u00a0 Pour in broth about 1\/2c at a time, pausing to mix.\u00a0 Continue until bread cubes are moist but not soggy.\u00a0 You may not need all of the broth.<\/li>\n<li>Season with salt and pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer to baking dish, cover and bake for 35m.\u00a0 Uncover and bake an additional 10m.<\/li>\n<li>Remove when warmed through.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a simple, basic but tasty stuffing.
