{"id":516,"date":"2020-01-13T05:36:32","date_gmt":"2020-01-13T05:36:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ramimarcus.com\/Recipes\/?p=516"},"modified":"2020-01-13T06:43:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-13T06:43:00","slug":"frittata","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ramimarcus.com\/Recipes\/frittata\/","title":{"rendered":"Frittata"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 slices of thick cut bacon, cut into 1&#8243; slices<\/li>\n<li>1 red pepper, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 jalepeno, diced (<em>optional<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>3-4 green onions, chopped<\/li>\n<li>8-10 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 bunch basil<\/li>\n<li>85g goat cheese (3oz)<\/li>\n<li>parmesan cheese to shave\/grate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Cook bacon in a 10&#8243; oven-safe pan on high until starting to crisp.<\/li>\n<li>Turn down the heat, add the red and jalepeno peppers.<\/li>\n<li>When peppers start to soften, add the green onions.<\/li>\n<li>While the veg is cooking, whisk together eggs.\u00a0 Add some grated parmesan (be generous) and ground pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Roughly chop the basil and add to the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Cut goat cheese into chunks, dot evenly around the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Slowly pour the eggs into the pan.\u00a0 Use a spoon to stir gently to make sure the eggs reach the bottom of the pan and are dispersed throughout.<\/li>\n<li>Once the eggs begin to set top with grated parmesan cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Move to the oven and broil for 4-5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Cut around the sides, then rock pan forward and back against the counter to release.\u00a0 Flip onto a plate, then flip again (right side up) onto your serving dish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>NOTES:<\/p>\n<p>Most of the ingredients can be prepped beforehand, then you just combine in a pan and cook.\u00a0 Cut the basil at the last minute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Frittatas are easy and good-looking.
