{"id":590,"date":"2020-04-06T07:17:05","date_gmt":"2020-04-06T07:17:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ramimarcus.com\/Recipes\/?p=590"},"modified":"2020-04-06T07:19:24","modified_gmt":"2020-04-06T07:19:24","slug":"broccoli-soup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ramimarcus.com\/Recipes\/broccoli-soup\/","title":{"rendered":"Broccoli Soup"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>4tbsp butter<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 lbs broccoli, roughly chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 onion, roughly chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 carrot, roughly chopped<\/li>\n<li>4c vegetable broth (chicken is okay too)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2c cream or 4tbsp sour cream<\/li>\n<li>salt &amp; pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>cheddar cheese (<em>optional<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Melt butter in pot.<\/li>\n<li>Saute broccoli, onion and carrot until the onions are soft.\u00a0 The broccoli will also start to shrink.<\/li>\n<li>Add chicken broth.\u00a0 Cover and simmer until veg is soft, about 15-20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add cream.<\/li>\n<li>Blend until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add salt &amp; pepper to taste.<\/li>\n<li>Top with cheddar cheese if desired.\u00a0 You should desire it.\u00a0 It&#8217;s really good this way.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quick and easy.
