my taste. Some people like their oats with more liquid, less liquid, less spice, more nuts, etc. This recipe is extremely flexible and is meant as a template to start from; the quantities and combos are easily tweaked to your preferences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instead of mixing in nuts, you can add just before eating so they&#8217;re crunchier.  I generally add them overnight though because otherwise I forget in the morning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&#8217;re American, you will probably want to double or triple the sweetener.  Consider increasing the vanilla first, however, as studies have shown  vanilla fools the taste buds into believing food is sweeter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading
