This is a generic stir-fry sauce that uses common Chinese ingredients – you’ll find variations on this sauce in most stir-fries. Add to any stir-fried vegetables or protein to create a simple, fast, tasty dish.

Fast
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 boullion cube dissolved in 1/4c water
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder (optional)
Fast #2
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tsp sugar or mirin
- 2 tsp corn starch
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tbsp water
Fancy
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1/4c chicken broth (or water)
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Shaoxing cooking wine
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
