Nut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 225g flour — try 210 next time
  • 1 stick butter (113g)
  • 1c nut butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 100g sugar
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 1egg
  • 3/4tsp baking powder
  • 1/2tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat to 350F.
  2. Combine flour and baking soda.
  3. Cream butter, sugars and salt.  If using unsalted nut butter, add an additional 3/4tsp salt
  4. Add nut butter, mix until combined.
  5. Add egg and vanilla extract, mix until combined.
  6. Add flour half at a time, mix until just combined.
  7. Roll into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Flatten cookies with a fork in a criss-cross pattern.
  9. Bake for about 12 minutes.
