Ingredients
- 225g flour — try 210 next time
- 1 stick butter (113g)
- 1c nut butter
- 100g brown sugar
- 100g sugar
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 1egg
- 3/4tsp baking powder
- 1/2tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat to 350F.
- Combine flour and baking soda.
- Cream butter, sugars and salt. If using unsalted nut butter, add an additional 3/4tsp salt
- Add nut butter, mix until combined.
- Add egg and vanilla extract, mix until combined.
- Add flour half at a time, mix until just combined.
- Roll into balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Flatten cookies with a fork in a criss-cross pattern.
- Bake for about 12 minutes.
